The Leaf Writer works around several key elements of human errors, among which are, but not limited to:-

• Incorrect Spellings - in the amount in words
• Incorrect writing order, the amount in words
• Mismatch between the digits and amount in words
• Inconsistent in the way amounts are written
• Incorrect and incornsistent in the date format
• Inconsistent indications of stamps and crossings
• Spelling errors in writing the name of Payee

The Leaf Writer helps you to print on any bank cheque, and manage your payee and bank details efficiently. It also maintains the information of cheque numbers, the amount you paid, whom you paid to and was it on cash open or crossed payments.

The Leaf Writer generates a report according to the criteria selected, you may select report in bank order, or by payee order, one payee or all payees, one bank or all banks, or by date order and also by post dated date order.
The post dated date order reminds you of the cheques going to be presented at the bank, giving you a reminder of what needs to be met.

The Leaf Writer does not allow any cheques to be deleted, rather, they could be cancelled and still remain in the system for reference. It also secures same cheque number being used again.

We find cheques all over the world have one purpose but, have slight differences in its alignment of information to be printed on it. With The Leaf Writer, the one-time software for life, allows you to change the alignment to suite your requirements at any time.

Coming back to the purpose of a cheque printing software, it is to write cheques without errors, easy to manage, to present neatness and a high image of your company. Therefore we recommend you to use an office Laser Printer to achieve this, although the system supports a wide range of office printers if not all.

The Leaf Writer is a Windows-based software that best works with Windows Xp. Although The Leaf Writer does not require too many system resources, it would certainly perform better with more memory (RAM).

A. No. If you mean that, you place a blank white paper in the printer and the system prints the entire cheque/check.
A. Yes. If you mean that, you place the cheque/check leaf from the cheque/check book provided by the bank in the printer and the system prints the entire cheque/check.

A. Yes, you can use any office printer, but in the case of the dot matrix, you will find poor quality printouts.
On the other hand if you use a laser printer, this will be the best quality ever
